How we know this works.

Most business advice is opinion. Ours is tested. For more than a decade we have diagnosed, measured and refined what actually helps owners build capability, and we hold our own claims to the same standard we would want you to hold yours.

What we have measured.

Across every program we measure capability, confidence and business outcomes against a baseline taken at the start, and we report what we find. These figures are primary evidence from our own diagnostics and program measurement, gathered across more than a decade of working with thousands of owners.

Capability figures are measured against each owner’s baseline. Confidence to grow is self-reported at program end (NLGP, n=39). In our alumni follow-ups (n=10), most report revenue or financial growth after the program. The Net Promoter Score is collected at program end. The 2025 award is Economic Development Excellence in Consulting at the Economic Development Australia National Awards for Excellence.

Our program design is grounded in established research on how adults learn, how small businesses succeed and how AI is best applied. That body of work is a synthesis rather than our own research, and we say so. We combine it with what we see in practice, so the guidance stays current and grounded.

Our own AI research.

25eight runs applied AI research in-house. We experiment with open source, frontier and local AI in secure environments, and we run our own business on a governed system of AI agents designed and overseen by our founder, Sam Hurley. When we talk about making your business intelligent with AI, we are describing something we operate every day.

What this means for you: our AI guidance is current and hands-on, rather than recycled.

Held to a standard.

25eight is a twice certified B Corp, so the way we run the business is independently assessed too. Sam spent more than twenty years leading commercial and digital transformations across the UK, US and Australia before founding 25eight, holds a Masters of Teaching and is a Member of the Association of Coaching.
